I am Jacob Hill, your local Labour and Cooperative candidate in the upcoming Shottery by-election on Thursday 4th July. I have lived in Stratford since I was six, went to The Willows Primary School and then Stratford College. I have volunteered for a local charity for over a decade. I was a Covid-19 PCR tester during the pandemic and stood to be a town and district councillor in 2023.

I’ve been on doorsteps across Shottery Ward, listening to residents’ priorities and concerns for the area, ranging from big issues like lack of infrastructure to hyper-local issues like speeding along Hathaway Lane.
