Universal Credit Petition

We the undersigned acknowledge that:

Over 40% of Universal Credit claimants in England are already in work
Someone earning minimum wage would have to work 9 extra hours a week to replace the £20 cut from 6th October
4879 households across Stratford district will lose £220 by Christmas, a massive £1,040 over 12 months
This cut will remove over £5m from the local economy per year

We call upon Nadhim Zahawi MP to stand up for Stratford and vote against the budget on October 27th if it does not reinstate the £20 uplift for Universal Credit claimants.
